Getting started in a health club can be daunting and our popular group fitness classes are a great way to help build your confidence. Exercise classes are a great way for you to stay motivated through accountability and social encouragement. 

To reach and maintain a healthy weight, we should exercise most days of the week for minimum of 30 minutes, our classes make this easy! With a range of fun and motivating classes there will be a class to suit your individual health and fitness goals. 

Group fitness classes are a fun way to exercise and give all members and non-members the opportunity to work out in a group atmosphere with like-minded individuals. 

Class Descriptions

ZUMBA® - Zumba® combines Latin and international music with simple dance moves. Zumba® routines incorporate interval training — alternating fast and slow rhythms — to help improve cardiovascular fitness. A total workout, combining all elements of fitness – cardio, muscle conditioning, balance and flexibility, boosted energy and a serious dose of awesome each time you leave class. 

#Dance - DANCE is a 45-minute dance fitness class. It features great music from all kinds of genres; a wide variety of dance styles and choreography that will suit all abilities from beginners to those with more dance experience. #DANCE focuses on FUN and having a good time whilst keeping you healthy and active.

MAT PILATES - Mat Pilates is done on the floor using an exercise or yoga mat, which employs controlled breathing during body weight resisted movement to build core strength. These exercises help strengthen the body's core by developing pelvic and scapula stability, and abdominal control, using focused breathing patterns. Please BYO Mat 

MUM'S AND BUBS - Return safely to exercise with your bub and meet other mums whilst having a great workout. In a supported and welcoming enviornment, improve cardio fitness, work on tone and strength, and build up core strength. 

This 45 minute exercise class is designed to improve fitness, strength, tone, and energy levels.

Work out with us in a fun and friendly environment and feel your best as a new mum!

Make sure you bring along a towel or exercise/yoga mat and water bottle. Always consult your GP or medical practitioner before undertaking exercise.

Book your Group Fitness classes via Active World

Are you looking to book for your next Group Fitness classes via your membership app Active World? Watch our quick demo video or follow the steps below:

  1. After downloading the Active World App and creating an account, login with your user details.
  2. Select Buy / Book from your Home Page.
  3. Select Book Session.
  4. Select Group Fitness from the activity options and click Select.
  5. Find your desired Group Fitness Class in listed options and click Book.
  6. Select a member to book the class for.
  7. Confirm your payment details, read the Terms and Conditions, and select Confirm Booking.

You will now be able to view your booked class in My Schedule, from where you can view class details or notify your absence. Now you’re ready to get active with us!
